The Sarmma QuickBooks Connector (the "Application") is a private, internal bookkeeping tool operated by Sarmma Creative Inc. ("Sarmma"), British Columbia, Canada. It has no public users and no customers. This policy describes how the Application handles data, and it exists primarily to satisfy Intuit's developer platform requirements.
The Application accesses only Sarmma's own QuickBooks Online company data — customers, products and services, tax codes, and invoices — through Intuit's official API, under authorization granted by Sarmma via Intuit's OAuth 2.0 consent process. It does not access QuickBooks data belonging to any other person or organization.
None. This website is informational only. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects no personal information from visitors.
Data retrieved from QuickBooks is processed on Sarmma's own equipment. OAuth credentials and access tokens are stored locally on a single-user machine with restrictive file permissions and are never transmitted to any party other than Intuit. API credentials are stored in a password manager.
Sarmma does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any data accessed through the Application to any third party. Data is used exclusively for Sarmma's internal bookkeeping.
QuickBooks data remains in Sarmma's QuickBooks Online account and is governed by Intuit's own policies. Local working data is retained only as long as needed for bookkeeping and can be deleted at any time. The QuickBooks connection can be revoked at any time from Sarmma's Intuit account, which immediately invalidates the Application's access.
Sarmma handles data in accordance with the Intuit Developer Terms of Service and applicable Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), to the extent they apply to a tool with no external users.
